Giving your pup the silent treatment

I had to do it, just no way around it. I had no words for my 4 mo lab after he came out of a 2 hr nap which usually makes him fun to be around and launched from a foot away and grabbed my hand as I reached to pet him.(actually I was using a lot of words in my head). So I stopped talking, acknowledging or barely looking at him. After about ten minutes it was so hard to keep a straight face. He tried everything, crappy stuff first, chewing leg on stool so I moved the stool with no reaction. Untying my boot laces which is constant game for him, no reaction, dumping water bowl. Then the cute stuff, bringing every toy and dropping it at my feet, when I was standing still laying on my feet, throwing the ball for himself and bringing it back to my feet. What really got me was when he sat in middle of room and started that head tilting stuff as if to say “what do you want from me?” I wanted to say “ now you know how I feel “ and I broke and started playing again. Maybe some of you can relate
