Hi!
My roommate was fostering a puppy and I ended up falling in love with him, and decided to adopt him. He is now 6 months old, and I feel like I’ve fallen behind a lot on his training because I keep getting stuck on one thing: he knows his name, but he will not listen or come to me for the most part. He is insanely treat motivated, however of course easily distracted, and I have no idea what to do.
If you were to start training a puppy almost from scratch at 6 months old, what would be your best advice? He knows sit, paw, wait and occasionally lay down. How do I make him listen to me all the time? And how can I better work with him to train him? TIA!!
