Is it ok to leave my newly adopted dog home alone?

I’m about to adopt and 8 year old chihuahua. She is said to be rather shy I havnt met her yet but I’m really excited. The only caveat is that I have to work a couple long shifts a couple days after the adoption event that she’ll be in town for. I have already secured a sitter who lives in my area and also has an elderly chihuahua so I think it will be a good fit for my long days, I work 3 10 hour shifts 3 days a week and then 2 8 hour shifts on the weekend. I can bring her to my second job on the weekends but not my primary job during the week. In the next couple months I’ll be full time at my second job and will be able to bring her to work with me but in the meantime I will need a sitter during the week. Im a bit worried that bringing her straight to the sitters house after only being in my house for a couple days will stress her out so I was thinking of having the sitter come to the house 2-3 times during the day and spending some time with her. I’m worried about her being alone in the house tho for that long even with someone to come check on her. I know the 3-3-3 rule is important and i really don’t want to stress her out by so much change is such a short period. I dont know whether it would be better to bring her to the sitter or have her come over. There are also 2 cats in my house that I have to slowly socialize her with so she’d be in my room for most of the day, I’m not as worried about that as she is a tiny girl and I have a big room and will have lots of toys and places for her to snuggle up but I’m still anxious. What should I do?
