Do your dogs actually sleep after you leave or…?

I always thought my dog just sleeps when I’m not home.

But recently I started wondering if that’s actually true.

One day I came back a bit early and he was just sitting near the door, like he’d been waiting. Not sleeping, not playing… just waiting.

And now I can’t stop thinking about what he does after I leave. Like does he just chill or does he get anxious after a few minutes?

I might be overthinking it but it feels kinda weird now lol.
