We have a 3.5 year old frenchie who is fully housetrained. He is crated when we leave for work during the day, but for 1.5 hours in the morning before work, when we leave for the gym, he stays out because generally he just sleeps. Every once in awhile we will come home to find out he has peed on either our chair or couch in the living room. No idea why, doesn't happen all the time. It is very random. It isn't that he isn't being taken out regularly.
Any suggestions on why? Or how to stop this behaviour?
