Recently got a corgi puppy, she’s 4 months old, almost 5
We also have a 13 year pit. He’s 99% laid back. He doesn’t do much, and tolerates her very well.
However during treat time, my corgi puppy is too eager and tries to jump at his mouth to I don’t know. Steal his treats? Assert dominance?
This only happens sometimes, but obviously it’s not okay and my pit snapped at her for the first time today when she jumped up and bit him harder than normal. He let off easy, and no dogs are hurt. I have them separated at the moment
But I’m not sure what to do to alleviate this issue. Any advice would be helpful
