What do you do when you leave your dog home alone for 5 hours +

I mostly work from home so I keep my 9 month pup company, but there are times when both of us are away for 5-6 hours. What do you do to keep your dog entertained / care for it while you’re away? I have a decent sized hall way that I keep her in (all rooms are locked and she just has the corridor to play in) and often leave her with toys and treats.
