Older Dog and Puppy Help

Hi!

I just brought home my new golden retriever puppy. My older golden, almost 2, is completely fine with her except when it comes to toys.

If she gets a toy, even if he’s not playing with it, he’ll get upset and growl at her making her scared. We previously had a short haired pointer who passed away about 9 months ago, so it’s not like my older golden hasn’t ever shared his toys before.

I’m just not too sure on what to do because I want her and him to be able to play but he just gets jealous in a way.

I hope this makes sense it’s late lol but any help will be greatly appreciated!!
