Hi we need advice on how to deal with this and help understanding.
We have an 8 year old male cockapoo, he's never been good with other dogs (growls at them and fights) but he's always been pretty good with humans although shy around strangers… a year ago or I was lying on my bed, dog lying by my feet on the bed and as I sat up and went to stand he looked at me and leant up to bite my face… now it's the same thing on sofas and he's done it with other members of family also
Another time I was sat at my desk with dog about 10 meters away lying on the floor and as I stood up he runs over, with his tail tucked, jumps up and bites my legs and growled
He's not constantly like this, maybe once in a couple months, he's full of beans usually and plays nicely with us and usually likes hugs.
I've told a vet and been to a behaviourist
And advice would be appreciated
