Our 11mo old cockapoo has recently started biting her lead – usually it seems to be when she is getting frustrated with being in a situation where she needs to be on a shorter lead or on lead for too long.
She isn’t responding to cues like leave it or drop it which she is normally pretty good at, and tethering isn’t stopping it either as she just chews the bit she can get to.
I know a lot of is adolescence but anyone have any suggestions of what worked for them to train the behaviour out? She didn’t used to do it and we’d like to avoid her become an adult lead chewer if we can!
