Just recently purchased a pug puppy from a breeder I had found through a Google search. I tried to do my due diligence but unfortunately made that mistake. The puppy sold to me came with a "health check" that said that the vet confirmed that the puppy was healthy in a typed up letter, written on the letter was that my puppy had no left ear canal found. Upon reading this I scheduled an appointment with my own vet and requested the vet the puppy had been brought to to send the files over. The puppy was sent home having been partially treated maybe for 4 different parasites that I was not made aware of and the treatment was not completed as it was 5 day treatment and I had received her 3 days after the treatment would have started and received no medication from the breeder. My puppy will be deaf in her left ear but I will be following up with my vet to keep my puppy healthy and happy. Puppy was purchased in Stirling, ON. What can I do to help prevent this from happening to others?
