My fiancé and I got a puppy in January, and after a DNA test, he is 54% border collie! While outside playing (rarely inside) he sometimes goes after my feet, growling and trying to bite them. I know this is a normal part of puppyhood, and also a “herding” sign.
If I have treats, redirecting works generally. If no treats, not as much.
He is crate trained + goes for regular naps. Yes, this does happen sometimes when he needs a nap, but other times too!
Do you have any suggestions on how to nip this early? Thank you in advance!
