My puppy is nearly potty trained. The biggest obstacle was getting her to use the bell to ask to go out. She started ringing the bell finally but now she does it CONSTANTLY. She doesn’t even have to potty, she does it immediately after coming inside. She loves outside and would be thrilled if I left her out forever. We walk and go to the beach for 1-3 hours everyday plus she gets lots of time with me sitting in the yard w her and outdoor fetch breaks every couple hours. She’s an Australian cattle dog mix so she’s very smart and energetic. Does anyone have advice on how to get her to not abuse the potty bell while still encouraging her to ask to go out??
