I have a 7 month old yorkie/shih tzu mix. She is doing great with her general training (sit, down, place, stay), as well as her potty training. She also is now only in her crate when no one is home and all she does is sleep.
She also is finally not scared to go for a walk outside of our yard anymore
My biggest issue right now is how she acts around other dogs. Even if the other dog has zero aggression and is ignoring her.
I really want her to stop reacting to dogs so we can take her with us to more places.
We do have a dog park nearby but when we go there are no dogs inside its fence.
I know i need to do better with bringing toys and high value treats so when there is a dog distraction I can help distract her to show her that dog wont bother her.
Anyone have any other advice to help her get over it?
